NMC v B (Nursing and Midwifery Council Interim Orders Panel): Neumans LLP was successful in defending a nurse accused of misconduct (failing to resuscitate a deceased patient) contrary to her employer's (a Care Home) procedure. The Interim Orders Panel of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) did not agree that the nurse's fitness to practice was impaired and refused to make an Interim Suspension Order. This was an important case concerning a nurses professional judgment in dealing with a matter that may have been contrary to the procedure in place. Further details contact Riz Majid.
