What is a Compromise Agreement?
A compromise agreement is an agreement between an employer and employee. The purpose is to create a clean break between both parties. By signing the agreement the employee waives their right to sue the employer in the future. The employer will usually financially compensate the employee for signing the compromise agreement. To make the agreement legally binding the employee has to take independent legal advice from a legally qualified person such as a solicitor.

Cost
Usually nothing for you. Your employer should pay for it. Within your compromise agreement there should be a clause where your employer offers to pay your legal expenses. We do not usually charge more than this.
